If you’re experiencing an issue with the app where Rainbow unexpectedly crashes, this article will help!
App crashes can sometimes result in a blank “white screen” on the Rainbow app or crash completely.
The best way to resolve this is by performing a refresh on either your iOS or Android device followed by force quitting the app.
Before following the instructions below, it’s important to note that this won’t affect your wallets, only the temporary data on your phone.
With that being said, we would recommend you write down any secret phrases, save any data, or back up your wallets beforehand.
How to refresh:
Step 1: Click on the history icon on the main screen in the upper left hand corner
Step 2: Go to Settings (within Rainbow)
Step 3: Tap Developer Settings
Step 4: Tap Clear Local Storage
Step 5: Force quit/Close and re-open Rainbow
